Welcome to the Software Reuse in the Real World blog! I am a programmer, a designer, a team lead, and most of all a curious technologist who likes to learn and exchange ideas. Software reuse is a topic that has fascinated me since my undergraduate days and I have often wondered how to be successful at it in the workplace. I have been part of several software projects and have experienced successful and failed attempts at achieving high levels of software reuse. My goal for this blog is to share my experience, brainstorm ideas, and foster conversations so we can all succeed with reuse. It couldn’t be a better time to think and practice software reuse given the focus on cost reduction and the need for delivering continuous value to our stakeholders.
